West Yorkshire

is held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month.

We hope the two visitors to the July natter Bill Morton who returns after several years’ absence to the MG scene with his Black Magnette and Trevor Gibbons who is looking to join the MG scene enjoyed their evening and continue to attend.

The results of the themed car quiz on the green environment showed that the majority have improved from Gas Guzzler’s to Going Green.

The Compass Run on Yorkshire Day was well attended with 15 cars and occupants enjoying bacon baps at The Star prior to a scenic run to the Craven Motor Cycle Museum at Sutton-on-Forest. We hope that Kate & Mike Dowell enjoyed the day and will return after their inaugural run.

RESULT OF INTER-NATTER QUIZ 2008

CONGRATULATIONS WEST YORKSHIRE

For the 4^th year running West Yorkshire managed
to keep the title of Inter-natter Quiz Winners.
It was a hard fought contest, well done to all the
teams that participated.

Saturday 18th August 2007

Geoffrey Wilson invited centre members to a birthday party held in his orchard on the 18^th August; Geoffrey was not the birthday boy but his beloved MGVA tourer, which had been first registered in 1937, 70 years to the day. Acquired by Geoffrey in 1953 with only 3000 miles on the clock now 200,000 miles later it looked resplendent parked in the courtyard adorned with balloons and banners.
