A busy January started off with our New Year walk around Swinsty reservoir. Due to the bad weather only Jeff & Kate Marsden and their friends managed to battle their way round. The rest of us made it to The Black Bull at Blubberhouse for an enjoyable meal.

January 9^th saw twenty one of us eating again, enjoying a delicious Chinese Banquet at Tung Po Skipton, a wonderful evening and fantastic food.

Our January natter also included our AGM. Paul Croft was re-elected for a third term as natter leader and Anita Redman as treasurer. Anita, Paul and his wife Rosemary  where thanked and congratulated  for all their hard work. We discussed and arranged a number of activities for the coming year. One of our new members Nick Mann  agreed to organise the end of season run and myself agreed to be scribe (will I be sorry?).

We ended the natter selecting our entries for the forthcoming photographic competition to be held  between natters at the annual awards dinner in February. Granville and Pat said goodbye as they set off on a 2 month holiday to New Zealand – lucky them!
