Another month nearer to getting our MGs back on the
road. However, some drivers manage to keep them going all year. One such is MGB
owner John Page, who surprised and delighted everyone by braving the weather on
this year’s Daffodil Run. In spite of snow, slush and spray, John completed the
course in fine style, with his hood down for the entire journey. To top it off,
his trusty mount was voted no.1 by his fellow entrants, winning him a bottle of
bubbly. Cheers John. Thanks go to David and Carol for organizing another great
event.
We welcomed three new members at the March Natter.
Dennis and Joan Greenwood and Gavin Parker joined in the fun and games, a
splendid start to what we hope will be a long association. Tony and Eve Aspinall,
visiting the area from their native Sussex also joined us to see how we do
things up here.
May looks like being a busy month with the
Caledonian Tour, the Wolds Way Run, and the Irish Tour all competing for your
attention.
