Sunday 24th April 2011 - Daffodil Run

START FROM: Clifton Moor Retail Park York for a tour around the Howardian Hills, finishing at Shipton-by-Beningborough where tea and scones will be served in the Pullman Carriages at the Sidings Restaurant. Entry Fee for Driver and Navigator £16 To include Rally Plaque, Tulip Route Book and tea and scones at finish. Prize for Best Car on the day.

The event will be supporting the charity MARIE CURIE CANCER CARE

Sunday 8th May 2011 - Wolds Way Run
(Organised by East Yorkshire)

For all MG, Classic and Sports Cars

This run regularly attracts 100 plus cars. Now in its 16th year, it is named after the Wolds Way long distance footpath which explores the best scenery in the area. This year a brand new route of around 100 miles starts at the Humber Bridge and finishes on the western edge of the Wolds at the ultra-modern KP Golf Club near Pocklington. At the lunch stop our cars will be parked overlooking the sea on the front lawns of Sewerby Hall near Bridlington. The entry fee of £18.00 includes tulip style route book, rally plaque and tea/coffee for two at the KP Club. To make the best of the day, join in the early evening BBQ on the KP Club terrace for £8.00 per person. Proceeds from the event will go to charity.

Please note the closing date for entries is 25th April and we regret we cannot accept entries on the day.

THE DALES RUN - 28TH AUGUST 2011
(Organised by North Yorkshire)

The MG Car Club North Yorkshire is pleased to announce that entries are invited for the 2011 Dales Run. Returning yet again to the Northern Dales, this year’s event will be visiting some of the most outstanding countryside in the UK.

The Run, which supports our chosen charity: The Yorkshire Air Ambulance, is open to M.G’s of any type, classic sports cars and classic motorcycles.

Start time this year will be 10.00 a.m. from the Bay Horse, Bradley, Skipton, where refreshments will be available from 8.30 a.m onwards. The Run will return to the Bay Horse after a tour of approximately 100 miles.
