(Organised by West Yorkshire)

Easter Sunday at McDonalds, Clifton Moor, York saw a great deal of activity as cars arrived to start the Daffodil Run. This year, 30 MGs were joined by 19 cars from the BMW Owners Club, whose crews thoroughly enjoyed their day and look forward to attending next year. Tom Norcliffe ending up with wet shoes and socks after pushing his stalled Midget out of a ford; we were assured that this had been a mere trickle during the route planning runs. Another casualty was Eric Batchelor whose MGB, with failing clutch, made it to the finish at Easingwold but who then had to call the break-down service for a lift home. A lot of work goes into planning these routes and thanks go to David and Carol Copeman for the second year for organising the Daffodil Run.
